This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds are managed for Briefly AI (“we”, “our”, “us”).
Payments for our services are securely processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
1. Subscription Plans
Briefly AI offers recurring subscription plans as follows:

All prices are in USD and may vary by currency or local tax as determined by Paddle.
2. Free Trial
- Each new user is eligible for a 14-day free trial before the first payment is charged.
- At the end of the trial period, the chosen plan will automatically begin unless cancelled before the trial expires.
- No charges occur during the trial if the subscription is cancelled before it ends.
3. Subscription Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled.
- Renewal reminders may be sent before billing where required by local law.
- Paddle will handle recurring charges using the payment method on file.
4. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your subscription anytime through your Briefly AI dashboard or by contacting support at hello@getbriefly.net
- When you cancel, you will retain full access to your subscription features until the end of your current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account will automatically downgrade to the free plan, and no further charges will be applied.
- Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription — cancellation must be initiated through the dashboard.
5. Refund Policy
We follow industry-standard SaaS practices regarding refunds.
- No refunds are provided once a paid subscription period has started, except as stated below.
- Refunds may be granted only in the following cases:
- ○ Duplicate charges or billing errors caused by our systems or Paddle.
- ○ Statutory refund rights, where applicable law requires it (for example, EU consumer 14-day withdrawal right if no service has yet been delivered).
- Refunds are processed through Paddle, and any decisions on eligibility are subject to Paddle’s refund procedures and timelines.
- We do not issue refunds for:
- ○ Change of mind after service usage.
- ○ Service downtime or feature requests.
- ○ Partial-period cancellations (mid-month/year).
6. Managing Your Subscription
You can view, manage, and cancel your subscription directly from your Briefly AI account dashboard.
Paddle will send you a confirmation email when your subscription is created, renewed, or cancelled.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy periodically to reflect business or legal requirements.
Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
